Tees Barrage P/1/2 - 20/21 Sept
Please can people note that this is not a double event weekend. I have recieved a number of entries for a double Div 1 or Div 2 race. If however you do want to Paddle Up on the sunday please make this clear on your entry cards. Judges entries would also be welcome for both days.
A few paddlers have unfortunately not provided an email address on the entry cards so I have been unable to get in contact with them to explain this.
Further race information will be provided nearer the event.
Thanks.

Rachel
I am puzzled: Event List on website says:
Div 1 Single / Div 2 Double
Division 2 + team event Saturday, Division 1/2 Sunday
But your post is headed P/1/2??

Hi John
Rachel is referring to the Tees Barrage races on 20/21 Sept, not the Abbey rapids one on 30/31 Aug (which is your Div 1 single, double Div 2).
.
The Tees Barrage races are a 1/2 (and junior champs) on the Saturday, and a Prem on the Sunday.
And on that note, it is it a race where we need plenty of helpers due to the size of it, so please get in touch if you are willing to help out with judging, safety etc - the HPP race earlier in the year ran spot on due to the big number of helpers who came forward, so if we can repeat that it would be great!
thanks
Linda

Hi All
If you have entered the Tees Barrage races, please can you complete the medical consent form and White Water Risk Declaration form which each participant needs to fill out prior to getting on the water and return to TBIWWC by post or email prior to the event. This will save considerable time on the day as will be checked off against the start list.
If you have completed forms in the last 12 months they will have them on file so you do not need to complete another one, but ALL will need to still sign in on the day before paddling. This is the same if you have a membership card or pass,

Re the medical form: please ask me, by email, to publish this sort of message on the website front page, where a lot more people will see it.
Re: Tees Barrage P/1/2 - 20/21 Sept
Yes I was going to...at the time of putting it on here I actually didn't want too many people to see it at once until I had identified if there was a particular contact at the barrage who wanted it, in case they were inundated......but thank you for putting it there now.

Re: Tees Barrage P/1/2 - 20/21 Sept
To date we have recieved 265 entries for Saturday's Div 1/2 & Junior/Vet Champs so unfortunately we need to close entries as of today.
To fit in this number of entries we will be running some classes at 45 sec intervals.
A draft start list will be published as soon as possible (hopefully be Friday) to confirm who has entered. And I will post a list of those entries I recieve after today that will not be entered for the Saturday.
Entries for Sunday (Prem, Paddle Ups and Judges) still welcome until Friday but with a late fee.

Izzy Bushrod - Seren Dwr
Apologies for not being able to accept these entries.

Re: Tees Barrage P/1/2 - 20/21 Sept
Hi,
I am trying to contact the Tees race organiser Rachel Tonks. I exchanged emails last Thursday 11th September with Rachel, but I have not received an email response since.
I'm not sure if Rachel is away, but I would be grateful if anyone who knows Rachel or connected to Tees could ask Rachel to reply to my email regarding race entries, given the race is only a couple of days away.
Many thanks
