Unofficial UK Slalom BBS

Looking forward to another slalom at Orton Mere on July 14th and 15th - Div3 and Div4 organised by Proteus CC.

Team event again on Saturday and BBQ Saturday evening (BYO food and drink).

Entries taken on the day 'till 10:30am Saturday, & 10am Sunday
Start of first runs dependant on entries on the day, but aiming for
11am Saturday & 10:30am Sunday.

This is sounding all to familiar.

The river level is high at the moment but failing
The weather forecast for the week is wet but nothing torrential.
At the moment we can still hold the event , the course would be moved 30 mtrs down stream so we would not use the top of the weir shoot.

But keep an eye on chatter and the main site in the unlikely event we have to cancel.

River levels are still falling so hopefully not too much rain in the next few days.
