Post by BaldockBabe » Wed Apr 25, 2012 9:23 pm

Please dont forget to post your entries for the above event by Saturday. Late entries will not be accepted.

Any entries recieved after today will be put in the judging pool as I only have a few judges. This will be noted on the start list and you will be expected to attend the judges meeting in the morning.

A start list for the 1/2 has now been posted. This start list only includes those entries where cards and money have been recieved on time. Anyone not listed will now be considered a late entry and will be added to the judging pool.

The final deadline for entries is 5 May, but we may reach capacity before then...

There is a small but possible chance that the event this weekend might have to be cancelled/ postponed if the promised rain does arrive.

I would prefer to leave the decision as late as possible in the hope that we can make this happen. please keep an eye out on here or Facebook for an update on Thurs/ Fri am.

I have had a call from HPP. They are currently closed and are likely to be closed tomorrow too, although they are hopeful that the water levels will start going down overnight.

The decision will be made tomorrow morning regarding whether or not the event will go ahead.

Sorry for the late notice but I would like to give the event as much chance as possible!

I have now had confirmation from HPP that the event WILL go ahead tomorrow.

The water levels are currently at a peak and will drop overnight. They expect them to still be slightly higher than normal when the event starts but we will be stating from the top of the course so this should not affect racing.

Please note that because of the water levels we will require 3 PADDLERS to stay on at the bottom of the course after their to provide extra safety. This will be strictly enforced.

HPP WILL BE CLOSED TODAY SO THERE WILL BE NO CHANCE TO PRACTICE UNTIL TOMORROW.

Please pass this on to as many people as possible.

Many thanks for your patience.

Michelle
