Topic title says it all really. I can't see any info in the calendar and just wondered if there would be any winter slaloms this year

Proteus' events are on again, Quote from www.proteuscc.co.uk:

Yes folks it's time to start publicising the Winter Slaloms.
This year we will be hosting our fun and friendly Winter series events on November 21st and December 12th.
As usual the course should be up by Saturday from about 1pm (depending on how much help provided - hint hint), and practice from whenever it is ready. Entries on Sunday with racing starting at noon. Commestible Prizes for all divisions/ages (Cakes and Sweets hmmm).Making a welcome return will be the Clever Captures sponsored 'Fish Cake' well for the first event at least.
Can Mandy manage to produce an even MORE stunning prize this year, will CC stump up for a prize for each event? I don't know, but I do know it will be fun.
See you there!
:D

Stone Mini Slaloms are :-

16 Jan 2011
30 Jan 2011
13 Feb 2011

Usual handicaps apply. Mugs for anyone who competes in all three. Need I say more?

The only time I have managed to get a mug from S&S is from attending all the mini slaloms. :)

Herr General,

You need to attend more S&S events, then you get more mugs and can redecorate your kitchen. I do it every year

Super Slalom Sunday will be presenting itself on 2 January up at abbey rapids too.

What better way to start the year!

But then I would have to enter other classes and I cannot get more than a few strokes in a C1, even on flat water, before I fall over.
Perhaps I could change my name, grow my hair long and then enter K1W! :D

Proteus This weekend, course erection from 10:30 Saturday (too scared of 'the girls' to get in the way of their training session)

Sunday event, enter on the day. Practice from when ever you are silly enough to get there. Entries from whenecver I am silly enough to get there (aim 9:30) start noon.

Prizes for lots, Mandy on Cake making duty, relaxed attitude. The place to be! See you there
