Easter Slaloms @ Tully
Either entries are really low this year or our posties are hiding them all somewhere.
We would love to see you in the currently freezing North and we have ordered sunshine from the Met Office like last year. We are awaiting their acknowledgement.
Water currently lowish but should have more snow melt by Easter and hopefully good racing.

Looking forward to the first Tully event - Pleased the levels are rising. Never paddled there before but have heard it is a good event. We are combining it with the Aberfeldy Div 4/3 on the Monday as our children are in Div 3 whch means we all get something out of a w/e away in Scotland.
Hope the entries come flooding in this week.

Water levels have improved - something to do with decreasing levels of white stuff lying around!
It is warming up and the Crocuses have definitely decided it is spring.
The start list for everyone that has got their entries in on time has been sent to Nick and I am sure he will put it up as soon as he can. In the meantime I am happy to forward by eMail. Those who sent envelopes with those sticky things on the front will be getting them returned this week.
Thanks to all those who have entered and we look forward to seeing you soon. Hopefully some of you that haven't may see your way clear to coming and enjoying the fun and we will be equally pleased to see you.
Commiserations to the Sowerby organisers and attendees, we should be OK as if levels rise we can still run racing on the south side of the river.

Tip no 1. When the organiser asks you to demo say no!
Tip no 2. When the organiser tells you that you were their first choice and their second choice was the winner of you event and that happened to be you, still say no!
Tip no 3. If the above fails tell the lovely guys demoing with you that you are petrified and they will look after you
Tip no 4. Then make sure you get on to the Pan Celtic team the following year so it never happens again!

and now my nipple doesn't work so I can't change this to say "won't" mind... Grrrrr!
Ps it was my first trip to Tully, my first Pan Celtic level water, and the water was big, it might not be so bad at somewhere like Orton Mere (which will be coming up before you know it, I am sure they mind someone practicing there )
