This meeting authorises the slalom committee to review and redraft the slalom regulations to remove inconsistency and duplication, and to make the regulations more readily understandable as circulated just prior to the ACM, incorporating any changes need to support the BCU data protection regulations.

Any chance you could put something in about temporary bib numbers?

UK C17.3.1 For individual events, except Division 4, Competitors are
identified by numbered bibs supplied by the Slalom Committee
(or an approved sponsor), as described in the ‘Bib
Arrangements’ section. ONLY THE BIBS SUPPLIED MAY
BE USED. Where a Competitor is permitted to compete
without a bib, the procedure for Division 4 (UK.C17.3.2
below) must be followed.

Add something like 'the number must not replicate any currently allocated bib for that division"

Which basically means use very high numbers or at least make sure the results show that.

Cannot do this as it is a change to the sense of the rules. This would have to be a motion, and ciculated to the clubs in advance. Sorry

Surely this isn't changing a rule as such but just providing guidance to organisers when they are following the existing rule. If the existing rule doesn't need to change then why can't this guidance be provided under the heading of "making the regulations more readily understandable"?
