Hi everyone;
Im doing a tech project on kayak ergometers, for my A level Coursework. Eventually i intend to design and make one, but need to carry out some initial research . . .
What are peoples opinons on current models . . .
advantages/disadvantages of
useage
transportation
weight/size
resistance methods
Canadian Paddlers is it hard to find C1 ergos? Are tehy converted kayak ergometer or specially designed for C1?
Any help would be much appreciated . . .
Ta
Jenny

Try putting this request on the Reading canoe club website. The flatwater paddlers are more into their paddling machines, something to do with not wanting to get their hair wet I think.
Good luck.

If you are ever at HPP, there are atleast 3 makes of kayak ergo kicking around the various gym and testing areas in the new building. And specific C1 sprint (flatwater) ergo's do exist - there is also one of them at HPP.
