My Slingshot 95 is built up the max that DD can do. I was paddling it when I was 105kg and it was fine, it did not feel small. I will be at the next Stone mini slalom if you want to try it. We also have the Mark Broadhurst design XXX which is suitable for 100kg plus and it can be cut down in length...

I think you will find that all the manufacturers will be able to cut their designs down to suit your weight. I can offer you the Slingshot 353 or the Energy 350, I have demo boats cut for 60 kilo at HPP which you can try, they will be a bit big, so take some foam to put under the deck and also to p...

I think this one can go to bed now. I agree that if people think they will swim, then fit airbags. If you go to rescue a boat and its really difficult and you are going to put yourself in danger or get hurt, then let it go, if the paddler is silly enough to come up and complain afterwards that you ...

I dont know if I supplied the boat to "discoloured" or not, but I would like to explain about colours and how DD use the RAL chart. I have tried to match the RAL sample cards to a known colour and its quite difficult as the gradient is qute steep, there are not many steps between light and dark sha...

Just to keep Geebs happy and show that he is not being ignored. Most Slalom paddlers want their boat as light as possible, certainly under 9 kilos fully fitted, we usually have about 0.5 of a kilo to play with in the standard constructions. We try and keep our seats as light as possible so that we ...

You could try one of the Double Dutch XXX designed by Mark Broadhurst, its performance is very good and the wider cockpit and high front deck make it easy to get into, contact me on 07979 816550 and I will give you Marks details he has a few of them in stock.

Whilst I like the reasoning behind Ritchies proposal, I just think that to move the event this year would kill all support for the slalom event from the people of llangollen who have fought to get us the access. How about WCP/Slalom Exec making it attractive to foreign paddlers by offering free pra...

Sorry to be picky, but the BCU Surf rules actually state: "Buoyancy: Kayaks should be fitted out to ensure that a paddler cannot become trapped if the footrests should fail. Full plate footrests are acceptable. Kayaks with a solid slab of buoyancy from the bow to the cockpit, which prevents a paddl...
