Thanks Seedy... Bank full is around 3.0m, so the level is high but contained, in fact it should give us plenty of opportunities for the course build tomorrow! A better gauge is this one: Glenochil We are at the course tomorrow, so I will post on here and on the start list which is available from th...

Glad you mentioned the parking - thank you to everyone for being so understanding...I am sure when you wa...

As teams are non-ranking my understanding is that they can be filed in the B.I.N.

I hope so :O

It says in either the rule book or the organisers handbook that people filling more than one role only need one copy.

Sorry Lois, didn't realise that - note made for next year!

I don't know the answer, and I don't know the goals of the committee with numbers of promotions / divisions / regions, which is why I already stated that I am not proposing a change, but there have been 20 promotions, 10 of which have been achieved with 3 lots of 1000 points, and 7 of those have be...

Alex and the other 2 paddlers had presumably spent some time paddling C1s, even if they hadn't entered any events. Yes, they had paddled C1 a small number of times, but I think their K1 experience (on the same water) significantly contributed to their C1 times. If you look at the ranking list for d...

Nice start Peter, but at Alva at the weekend we had Stirling CC and CR Cats slalom boats and demo Omegas available for those that wanted to use them, so most people were in pointy boats. The danger of allowing paddlers to start at div 3 should they choose is killing div 4...would anyone voluntarily...

All clubs are able to put in motions to the ACM - not just for changes but if they feel something in the rules needs clarity or rewriting so easier to understand.

Anne, thanks for raising this, the info is on page 192 of the 2011 Yearbook for those who are searching!

You know what...if all the organisers sent the price of a stamp to all the people who need printed copies, within a season they would all be able to buy a second monitor for their PC, and so drag the emailed copy of the results on to that and still use their main PC desktop to update the ranking li...

Sorry, but that does imply to me that you cannot take their word for it i.e. you don't trust them. Well, I have to say, based on the rules and protest system I have, we don't (as paddlers) promote ourselves well on this. How many times have you heard someone come to control & admit a hit or miss, a...

What an absurd thing to say... That's like say that a C2 crew who have done some training shouldn't race in Div 4 because that gives them an unfair advantage... Ah the good old forum "let's take a quote completely out of context" game. Let's try looking at the whole statement, If a C2 crew had ente...
