i love the shepperton slalom! even though it's a long way and was only a single race this year, we still went because it's my favourite course, great fun and a excellent start to the season.....i'll be very, very disappointed if they choose not to run it! :(

I too am a bit concerned about the Div2 at Tully disapearing. Surely as there was so much discussion about Div2 women not competing on difficult water before promotion to div1, this will not help the situation if this is removed from the calendar. Can someone please confirm if this is correct? :(

Perhaps equal opportunities was not the right phrase - more equal application of the rules. I don't believe this proposal achieves anything. The main issue is one of competition. The size of the divisions is generally in the region of 2:1 (male:female).
