just a personal opinion but town falls, serpents tail, bala mill and shepperton are graded too highly (at least one grade for each). one decent drop does not make a hard course.

my only evidence is that a vast number of those i knew and saw competing and helping in and around the sport 10 years ago are still knocking around in one form or another. Having said that a lot of the juniors seem to have gone missing from my era and just after ???

I think I'd agree that we need more flexible divisions, but how about when you go to a say Div 2/3/4 event you can enter in any of those divisions.
