Re: ACM Motion 6.5 Extreme Slalom Rules
Is there any plan for the ICF to update their rules following this year's racing? (To our knowledge the meeting which was going to happen with competitors to feedback hasn't happened, not sure it will now) If they do update would we also update? Also if this motion is accepted I'm guessing we need t...

Re: Symonds Yat
Symonds Yat is now cancelled!
EA are predicting the river to not peak at Ross on Wye until Sunday afternoon and the access road is at risk of flooding.
Back off to rescue Tutti lines and poles now.
Sorry!

Re: Symonds Yat
For those who didn't stay till prize giving. We have said the decision about tomorrow's racing will be made at 8am and published here. Please do not turn up before 8am and if racing is happening nobody is to be on the water before 9am as a new course will need to be set. Everyone was fantastic runni...

Re: Symonds Yat
Just to confirm the event is still going ahead. The weather warnings don't quite make it as far as us.
We are however still looking for judges and jury members.
Thanks
Alison

Symonds Yat
Just in case people read here rather than the event info. Car parking has gone up this year and it's now £6 a day. Your launch fee for Saturday and Sunday is still included in your entry fee though so no need to pay that unless you are paddling on the Friday. River levels are currently very low thou...

Re: Demotee Rankings
I don't think you can apply portable points for when people are demoted. Having just been demoted to div 2 if you ranked me from my points I would be a bib number in the 50s in div 2. I wasn't eligible to race in div 2 but I did judge at Symonds Yat and would have come out with around 470 points if ...

Re: Symonds Yat 14th/15th October
Any offers to judge (or even be a jury member)would be very much appreciated. We are very low on judges at the moment. Any one who volunteers gets free tea/coffee/hot chocolate and access to the biscuits!

Re: Symonds Yat 14th/15th October
There are now very few places left. 16 on Saturday and 12 on Sunday so we are very unlikely to be taking entries on the day. If you still want to enter the easiest way is through the online entry.

Re: Is C2 Viable as a ranking class?
Don't forget the C2 crews who were competing at Langham farm the same weekend as Cardington. There were 10 div 2/3 and 5 div 4 on the Sunday.

Re: Boat Weight Rules
Remembering the days where all boats were weighed at most div 1 Slaloms I can't see the problem. Initially you could get your boat weighed before/after practice you then had time to add some weight if needed. You securely fixed the appropriate weight in had it checked at practice next venue and were...

Re: Symonds Yat Slalom - 15/16 Oct 2016
Following a conversation I have had to have tonight with the car park owners can I be very clear about parking and launch fees. Your launch fee for Saturday and Sunday only are included in your entry fee. You have to pay for car parking over the weekend. If you are planning on paddling this Friday y...
