Checking at races is difficult, we struggle with man power to check boats let alone perso...

That is incorrect - it is £20 for two hours and we are in negotiation to allow that to be split into 2 separate hours.

Yes it will be but not exclusively for slalom and probably few gates!

These sessions will have a limited number to ensure a good session, gates and no rafts!!

Hi John I am aware of the dilemma for you, living in the SW myself - but it isn't all about what happens centrally, although that is important too - we need clubs in all regions to be prepared to put events on, particularly in div 2,3 & 4 travelling a bit further at 1 is inevitable to get suitable ...

Hi No you can also run an open at a short course Div 4, the more people paddling the better, the more events like this that can be put on the more slalom is seen , especially when they are in viewable areas!! Good luck with it!! The SW definitely need some revived races!

Go for it!! how about a short course Div 4 - can apply for that 1 month before and doesn't have to be on the calendar, would be great! It was just the kind of thing we were discussing at the English council meeting a few weeks ago, your regional rep (name escapes me but lives in Exeter!) was there ...
