Well said Matt. Less us forget that Tim & Etienne bagged themselves a silver at the world cup in Tacen last year. I bet the guys on the start line of the olympic games will miss such great personalities and feel that them missing on the olympic spot as one less serious threat to the top 3!

I believe this can be easily summed up...'rules are rules' whether it be for the top paddlers or someone who wants to enjoy their weekend. If you claim that your job places strain on training and racing, surely this breeds an even greater importance on obeying the rules (i.e. boat weight) as to not...

Hi Richard,
Have just been looking at the start list, and I can not see my name. I sent my entry in the same envelope as Gareth Wilson though?!

Just after some confirmation about this confusion.

Cheers

dont get me wrong, i'm not looking to criticise those that have given up their time and efforts to design a course...i praise them.and i am sorry if i came across to harsh. I do agree with dave royle; there were no options and this is one things as a racer i feel is important to push. i.e. what opt...

how can you possiblily say that?!!?!?...a slalom course is meant to flow, the course on sunday had none of this.it had no flow at all. parts of the course were segments from selection 2 years ago, could this truly be a true reflect of a div 1 course. i agree that div 1's should be challenged, but s...

I fully agree with Train To Win, who cares? I certainly don’t...you can wear a salad bowl with a Velcro strap on if you think it works and "makes you go faster".

Just a quick thought...who exactly is Campbell et al?? What other paddlers use these helmets?

surely it just makes sense to have a boat that is relative to your weight??? if you believe that the course desginers did a poor job at bala mill, i would challenge you to create something that is a challenge for all, and "do-able" for many others. if you cant afford to buy a new boat, or have the ...

I'm not sure that its discrimination, but i can see your point.

perhaps this should engage movement to have in place a rule that indicates just exactly what each man or women and class, needs to avoid demotion??
