Not wishing to hijack this thread about a very good event.
The question regarding slalom coaching was started HERE there are plans for the UKCC L3 to role out this year which will be discipline specific and I do know of at least one paddler/coach that is going down that route.
Cheers Graeme

I have heard rumours of one lady (sorry woman) dropping out already, with the scuttlebut being that she was worried about the water. THIS IS RUMOUR AND PROBABLY WRONG, but does the class's image no good. Yes the rumour is wrong (as most are), she pulled out of the Tryweryn and selections a HPP beca...

I think there would be more chance of winning the lottery than contracting swine flu from the water at HPP. But, the chance of catching it from a human source at something like the Europeans is a possibility if someone has visited Mexico recently or has been in contact with someone that has. You co...

Now that the classes have been formed, is the current points calculations actually working out fair? 1. Against the K1 men, is the % right? 2. Overall, how can two paddlers end up with the same point's from the same race for 1st and 2nd? Surely the winner of the class should have more points? Cheer...

As with any form of selection I think Geebs was referring to the selection form which had tick boxes for C1 K1M K1W C2 but not specifically C1W. We added a W behind the C1 and assumed they were included, as the policy seemed to suggest this. Exactly, there was no box for the C1 or C2W category, eve...
I also understand that there is a German C1W team as well, no doubt other countries have teams as well and as usual GB will be last to act! There is bound to be a gap between Div1 and Prem let's face it most of the girls/women have gone from Div2 straight to Prem in less than a year and with only s...
